Attestation of Medical Certificate Attestation of Medical Certificate

MEDICAL CERTIFICATE

Question:  How do I get my medical certificate issued from India attested?

Document once apostilled by MEA, New Delhi, is not required to be further authenticated by the Indian Embassy in Ankara because both India and Turkey are members of the Apostille Convention 1961. However, if the Turkish authorities insist for the Embassy’s attestation following procedure will be followed.

  1.  Personal presence of the person whose medical certificate is to be attested.
  2. Valid passport in original with photocopy (first and last page).
  3.  Turkish Residence Permit (Original with Photocopy)
  4. Original medical certificate with photocopy attested by Notary public of the district from where the certificate was issued and counter attested by the Home Department of the state/union territory. Thereafter, it is to be attested/apostilled by the Attestation Section of the Consular, Passport & Visa (CPV) Division of the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.

Attestation Fee : US $ 12
